Follow-up emails: when do they go out?
Email 1: a few minutes after the result
Email 1 goes out about 5 minutes after the lead sees their result, at any hour: they're waiting for it. Those few minutes give a share that unlocks the bonus time to be counted, so the email can deliver it.
The next ones: between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., in the lead's time
The following emails go out N days after the quiz (day 1, day 3...), and only between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. in the lead's time zone. Outside that window, they wait until 9 a.m. the next morning, lead's time. The time zone comes from the lead's browser; if it's unknown, Tiquiz uses Paris time.
Example: a lead in New York takes your quiz on Monday at 10 p.m. Their day 3 email would land Thursday at 10 p.m.: it goes out Friday at 9 a.m.
Delays count from the quiz
Day 3 means 3 days after the quiz, not 3 days after the previous email.
What can delay an email
- Never two emails from you to the same lead less than 20 hours apart, across all quizzes.
- The monthly quota reached: emails 2 and later wait for the next month.
- Your account's first 10 days of sending: volume ramps up step by step.
- A pause: on resume, each lead's schedule shifts by the length of the pause.
- A quiz in the trash: its emails wait. Restore it and they resume.
In the Tracking tab, the latest leads list shows when each lead's next email is scheduled.
