Follow-up emails: unsubscribes, invalid addresses and spam reports

Unsubscribing

Every email has an Unsubscribe link in its footer, and email apps that support it also show their own one-click unsubscribe button.

When a lead unsubscribes:

  • they get no more emails from you, across all your quizzes;
  • if you set an unsubscribe tag, it's added in the tool of each quiz concerned (Systeme.io or GoHighLevel);
  • if they take one of your quizzes again later, they're never signed up again.

Invalid addresses (bounces)

When an email bounces because the address doesn't exist, Tiquiz stops writing to that address right away. In Tracking, the lead shows "Invalid address".

Spam reports (complaints)

When a lead clicks "Report spam", Tiquiz stops writing to that address right away.

The automatic pause

Tiquiz watches your account's last 500 emails. From 50 sent, all your sequences pause if more than 3% bounce, or if there are at least 3 spam reports above 0.08% of sends. The message in the Emails tab tells you why. Check that your form really asks for the email, reread your subject lines and first sentences, then click Resume: each lead's schedule shifts by the length of the pause, nothing is lost.

Stopping one lead

Tracking tab, latest leads: Stop for this lead.
