Follow-up emails: the required postal address, and why
Why Tiquiz asks for it
A follow-up email sent after a quiz is a commercial email: it's about you, your offer, your work. The person receiving it must be able to know who is writing. In the United States, the CAN-SPAM Act requires a valid physical postal address in every commercial email, and Tiquiz applies the same rule to everyone, wherever you are.
It's also about trust: an email signed with a name AND an address looks like it comes from a real person, because it does.
Where to enter it
- In a quiz's Emails tab, click change on the Sender line (or Add your postal address in the footer of the email shown).
- Sender tab, Postal address field.
- Click Save.
You only enter it once: it applies to all your quizzes and all your emails.
What your lead sees
It shows in the footer of every email, under the line explaining why they're getting it and above the Unsubscribe link.
Without a postal address
The Activate button stays greyed out, and nothing goes out while it's missing. A sequence that's already active waits, without losing any lead, and resumes as soon as the address is saved.
